Jasreet initiated a small business called Little Things by Noor & Jas amidst the challenges of the 2020 pandemic. Initially focusing on crafting floral shadow boxes adorned with elegant lines of religious Sikh Hymns, customers were able to personalize these everlasting boxes according to their preferences. After a year, she assessed her business strategy, realizing that the extensive time and effort invested in each handmade shadow box did not align with the profits generated. Although she still values creating handcrafted items, instead of selling them, she chooses to donate or gift them to Sikh temples. She recently gifted it to one of the prestigious holy places: the Golden Temple. Subsequently, she shifted her focus to the flourishing wedding floral industry. Leveraging her mother’s extensive 25-plus years of experience in the floral industry, she received invaluable guidance, allowing Jasreet to seamlessly follow in her mother’s footsteps. Streamlining her efforts, she honed in on the wedding floral industry. By focusing on marketing, product quality, pricing and strategic placement, she achieved remarkable success. The summer of 2023 marked a significant increase in sales, a testament to her focused approach. Looking forward, she is already booked for bridal weddings in the summer of 2024, where she will create exquisite floral arrangements for brides. Her anticipation for these upcoming projects reflects her dedication to delivering exceptional service in the wedding floral industry. She is currently on track to generate over $10,000 in floral sales in the upcoming year.
